Registration on the telecom operators' Distributed Ledger Technology platform, required in India for commercial communication.
Definition
Under TRAI's Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR), businesses that send commercial messages or make commercial calls register on a DLT platform run by the telecom operators. Registration records the business (principal entity), its headers or numbers, message/call templates and customer consents.
